with families staying at the Savannah Ronald McDonald House® in honor of the Simpson Family
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire® is honored to have been a part of the Simpson Family's Journey. There is not a more deserving family who could be a recipient of a new home via Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The mission of RMHC Coastal Empire is to create, find and support programs that directly enhance the health and well-being of children and families.
Thank you for your consideration of a gift to our charity in honor of this incredible family. The Ronald McDonald House, our cornerstone program, serves approximately 300 families each year with a "Home away from home" while their children are being treated in Savannah area hospitals.
It costs RMHC $65.00 a night to house one family. While we request a #10.00 fee per night, more than 50% of those families are unable to pay that amount. No one is turned away because of an inability to pay. We raise money to support their stay through our Share A Night fund.
