Family Room
A Haven in the Hospital
When families walk into our Family Room we want them to forget
they're in a hosptal. Our Family Room opened in 2006
through the generosity of our McDonald’s Owner/Operators who
participated in the
Penny-A-Pound program. The Family Room provides
a service to our local community that our House cannot, in addition to those on the waiting list for a room in our House
The Family Room provides respite to immediate family members of patients at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital. They can visit the room to grab a quick bite to eat, do a load of laundry and relax outside of the typical hospital waiting area or hospital room environment.
