LOVE BUILT. . .
The Savannah Ronald McDonald House opened in July 1987 through
donations from corporations, organizations, individuals, foundations
and the support of local McDonald’s owner/operators. Our House provides a “Home away from home”
for families who have critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at Savannah area hospitals. We
believe children heal faster when their families are close by.
In order to stay in our House a family must live 30-miles outside the city limits of Savannah. We serve families from southern Georgia and those from the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
