Serving Families Where Care Happens
We operate Family Rooms at:
- Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health (more about Memorial University Medical Center)
• St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital (More about St Joseph’s/Chandler Hospital)
These spaces serve more than 2,000 families each year, many of whom are awaiting a room at our House.
Family Rooms ensure that even when a family cannot stay overnight with us, they still have access to comfort and support inside the hospital.
What Families Will Find
Each Family Room offers:
- Comfortable seating and quiet areas for rest
- A small kitchen stocked with snacks and on-the-go meals
- Laundry facilities and shower access
- A welcoming space to pause, recharge, and gather strength
These spaces are made possible through generous community support and the dedication of volunteers who help keep the rooms open and welcoming.
A Seamless Extension of Our Mission
Our Family Rooms are not separate from the House.
They are an extension of it.
Together, they ensure families can stay close, whether for a few hours between procedures or during an extended hospital stay.
